when our worlds
were brought into a new light
the learning process began
lust was immediate
and deliberate
but both of us were attached
unhappily attached to others
this was hope, passion behind eyes
of a future?
Racing thoughts of us
together for more than
two nights
I tried to communicate
my unchartered feelings
ever so eager to grow
but this time mutual was needed
and for good reason…
that night in May
became three years
of growth and wonder
love abducted
to lengths
yet undiscovered.
