Studio 805 - The Art of Brenden Sanborn

I try not to get political with my paintings, but in this case I felt the need to stand up to what I feel is every human being’s right. In these turbulent times where a leader intertwines church and state, we must stand strong against any opposition to just be ourselves and to love who we choose, not who we are told to love. I find holding hands with the person we love to be one of the sexiest gestures a couple can make. I hope that one day EVERYONE can walk freely in public places holding hands with the one they love. This painting is dedicated to all the same sex couples who have found love and want to express that love.
